Is this a lost temple to the giants?

Is this a lost temple to the giants?

We live in a society influenced by the Bible and in most people’s minds, the classic biblical monarchs such as David and Solomon evoke a golden age of Israel: of wisdom, wealth and sophistication.

So it comes as a shock to most people to find out that despite over half a century of archaeological searching, we still cannot find any evidence of a monarchy at the time of King David. No palaces, no temples, no infrastructure, no masses of court records and as one archaeologist said, we cannot even find the garbage! It just did not exist at that time in that place.

Of course, people do argue that because the Temple mound, where the Dome of the Rock is currently situated, cannot be excavated, we are unable to confirm if the original Temple of Solomon which used to be the centre of the Jewish faith, actually existed there.

But even so, we would expect to find the artefacts of a great kingdom that existed in the area; an organised society like that simply leaves its mark, but we have found nothing.

This has led some leading experts to rewrite the Biblical stories understanding them to be greatly exaggerated. According to the archaeological evidence, the area around Jerusalem was just sparsely populated highlands at the supposed time of King David.

So according to some scholars, the great monarch becomes a tribal chieftain with a band of tribal warriors instead of armies. This may be far from the sumptuous riches that the Bible describes, but it fits the picture that we see in the actual evidence.

I find this idea quite strange. Not because I am religious (I am not) or because I have a need to glorify these kings – these were not the heroes of my childhood. I find it odd that King David – such a flawed character would be pure fiction. He is murderous, conniving and backstabbing to the point where even his own sons rise up against him.

Far from being the happy succession from father to son, we tend to assume happened, Solomon was not King David’s eldest son but the son of the woman he spied from the rooftops who was married to someone else. David had the husband out of the way and got his wife Bathsheba pregnant. (So much for ‘you shall not commit adultery or murder’!)

I just don’t think it is human nature to provide a character to your glorious made-up ancestral King and make him into such a nasty piece of work. The fact that there are two versions of the story of King David in the bible and one has been sanitised shows that someone was indeed embarrassed at his antics at some point.

It started me wondering if the stories have not been transplanted from another place and time and brought to Jerusalem in the memories of another people. Could it be that we have been looking for evidence in the wrong place.

I find it very intriguing that although nothing like the Temple of Solomon or his kingdom can be found in Jerusalem and the ancient Kingdom of Judah, further north there exists a temple that fits the description of the Temple of Solomon very closely. This is the Ain Dara Temple in Syria and it has some very interesting features.

Its measurements, the way in which it is decorated and its layout greatly resembles the Temple of Solomon in the Bible. There are other Temples in the area which are of a similar style. And in contrast to Judah in the south at this time, the writing of a great civilisation has been found: for example over 20,000 clay tablets at the site of Ebla or Tell Mardikh also near Aleppo in Syria. Here we do find temples, palaces and a lot of writing.

Could it be that the stories we see in the Bible are actually memories of people who migrated from north to south? They just transplanted their memories of the glory days to their new habitat.

The Old Testament only started to be written down after the time of the Babylonian exile in 700s BC. The people we now call ‘Jews’ had just been through a massive humiliation. They needed to rally round and write down their history in order to unite under a common story. This was possibly when stories which were originally about what we now call Syria were simply incorporated into the narrative of the people who lived in Judah.

Was it possible that the ones who had migrated from the north brought their stories with them and transplanted them? If so it gives a very interesting slant on what else can be found at Ain Dara.

Because almost as if a god or goddess had entered the temple, the footprints actually exist of what appears to be a giant being. Now the Old Testament does indeed mention giants on some occasions. We are also rediscovering many reports from around the world in the last 200 years especially of giant skeletons having been found.

Could Ain Dara be evidence that the Bible and other giant myths are true? Could the temple be a site where an actual giant god mentioned in the bible was present? I am going to be discussing more about these ideas in the forthcoming book and mystery school so stay tuned.

How to survive a crisis Black Hole Principle style

How to survive a crisis Black Hole Principle style

Image Shutterstock – modified

To say I have been through a major crisis is an understatement. As some of you know, I went through a period of time when I lost my marriage, my career and home all within the space of a few months. I also faced an investigation into my mental health by the medical authorities instigated by my ex-husband during our split.

Suffice to say 2002 was a real crisis year and without the principles of the universe that I already knew about, I am not sure I would have got through it in the way that I did. So the scientific discoveries I had been making, even until that point were crucial in my recovery.

So here are the tips that helped me to get through a crisis gained from my awareness of how the universe works. I hope they help you.

1) Everything is a mirror of your emotions at some level even if these emotions originate in past lives.

Before this major crisis, I feared an investigation by the medical profession due to my spirituality. Of course, that is what I manifested. But on the flip side, once I was through it, I was through my biggest fear and although my bank balance suffered, I felt liberated.

During the investigation an interesting phenomenon happened – I developed a dark mark around my neck. I wondered if it was a noose mark leaving a multidimensional imprint from a hanging in a past life. I was with some spiritual people discussing the medical investigation into my mental health and I pointed out the mark.

One woman immediately piped up,”noose mark”. It was as if a fear regarding persecution from the authorities had leaked into my current life and was creating this investigation. The mark disappeared after a few days.

Sometimes it will take some searching but it is possible to find the emotional cause of events in your life. When I am working with clients, I scan their current lives, past lives and their multidimensional selves. It is in this way that we can often get to the root cause of what is holding someone back in the present moment. If are interested in having a multidimensional coaching session then get in touch with me using the contact page.

2) Your Higher Self sets up lesson from out of space and time to help you to understand and grow.

The purpose of life is NOT to feel comfortable but to learn the maximum amount whilst we are incarnated. This is how you grow your consciousness which is all you take with you when you eventually leave this world. But you are not a victim in all of this; an aspect of your own being can see the big picture from beyond space and time and it is this aspect of you that sets up your life lessons.

We are all multidimensional and it is from this perspective that we set up your life lessons. I knew even in the height of my difficulties that I had set this up myself in order to get me on my true path. And indeed I left the medical profession and have been on my true path ever since.

3) A crisis is feedback.

Even in the midst of the worst argument or conflict you can see the reflection of your shadow. Take a mental note of what you pick up from a situation about yourself and journal on it later. A simple example – say somebody is arguing and hurling names at you, make a mental note of what these names are and if any of them hurt more than the others.

if you feel triggered by what is said, then there are probably some underlying emotions that you can do work on later by journalling for example. You may actually believe what is being said about you at a subconscious level.

I am not suggesting you necessarily try to do this in the heat of the moment, but by shifting your awareness like this, the crisis may shift too. So a crisis becomes a feedback opportunity for your own growth.

4) Ask for help

Image Shutterstock

Realistically, I think very few of us bare our souls to others outside of our family. We often give the impression that everything is wonderful as we are afraid of the shame and the vulnerability that comes if we say that we are going through a hard time.

However if we do reach out to a friend when in a crisis you will be surprised at how people will gladly come to your assistance. Some will leave your life but they were probably looking for you to confer some sort of status on them and, if you are not matching up to their projections, they will leave your life and that is OK.

But there will be some friends who are genuine and if you reach out to them in a crisis you may find that they are true friends and you depend on them in a crisis.

5) Be kind to yourself and try doing nothing.

Do the minimum that you have to do to get by but otherwise rest and do nothing for periods of time. In this time your emotions will be working themselves out so it may look like you are doing nothing but internally you are working like crazy.

Taking this time will help you to heal in order to move onto the next stage of your life. So don’t feel guilty for doing nothing – this is a really essential step for your recovery during a crisis.

I hope this has given you some tools for handling the next crisis you go through. If you would like some more strategies that come from the deeper understanding of the cosmos then have a look at Simply Divine – an easy guide to the Science of spirituality. Click the button below for more.

6 Signs that the brain isn’t the originator of consciousness

6 Signs that the brain isn’t the originator of consciousness

Image: Shutterstock

It seems so obvious that the brain is the originator of consciousness. No brain, no consciousness – it seems simple. This assumption has become so fundamental that we barely notice that it is an assumption or that it has never been proved.

Now that consciousness is being taken seriously by scientists let’s look at a number of interesting findings that suggest that there is something deeper happening.

1. There is no particular place that seems to be responsible for the function of consciousness.

I once attended a seminar for doctors given by a neuroscientist who specialised in studying consciousness. The top question of the evening was which part of the brain is responsible for consciousness.

Image – Graphic Stock

The scientist had to disappoint people as there is not particular place in the brain that gives rise to consciousness. But the question itself just shows how reductionist we are. We are always looking for the ‘part’ that has a particular function because we have bought into the beliefs that we are biological machines with constituent parts.

Studies have been done by people who wanted to find the exact location of consciousness in the brain so destroyed various parts of the brains of rats and found that function is still retained even though most of the brain is essentially mush. Even these people had to conclude that there was no particular location in which consciousness resides although they set out to prove the exact opposite.

2. People with hardly any brain matter can have normal intelligence.

Occasionally people can have brain disorder which causes the fluid of their brain to squash the brain matter into a small space so that they end up with hardly any brain mass.

Amazingly, if treated, some people can live normal lives. Such as the case of Sharon Parker who is a British qualified nurse and mother. Although her condition of hydrocephalus or ‘water on the brain’ was detected and treated in childhood, the condition had already caused the brain to adapt so she ended up leading a normal life, even qualifying as a nurse with very little brain mass.

Sharon Parker The Woman with the Mysterious Brain

There is even a case of a person studying higher mathematics with very little brain mass. It seems that if the conditions were from birth and developed slowly then the brain may adapt. It also means we have to think again when we equate brain mass with intelligence and consciousness.

3. The brain alters according to usage.

Image: Shutterstock

When I was in medical school we were taught that after childhood the brain stopped growing and the amount of neurones present in adulthood remained static.

That picture has now changed and we can see that certain activities can change the structure of the brain and increase the mass in certain areas. A famous example is in taxi drivers in London who have to go through rigorous training to learn the complex map of London by heart. Studies have shown that this activity seems to increase the mass of the brain.

Now for some this will point to the brain being the origin of consciousness and memory. But think about what is causing the change: experience. You cannot hold experience, it is no tangible. So something not tangible is causing a physical change in the brain. This fits more with the concept that the brain is a conduit of consciousness.

4. The God spot

When the so-called ‘God spot’ was discovered in the brain, scientists were triumphant. By electrically stimulating the brain they were able to reproduce the mystical effects that people often report in certain states such as just before an epileptic fit.

They extrapolated that all mystical or psychic phenomena were simply generated by the brain in this way and people were just mistaking them to be real.

However there is an interesting factor in this. They obtained their results by electrically stimulating the brain with electrodes in the laboratory. So in the case of mystical events outside the laboratory and with our electrodes what is stimulating the brain then? Could it be that consciousness itself is acting through the brain and stimulating areas such as the so-called God spot?

5. Blindsight

The reductionist paradigm is all about physical connections. Sight is a function that is no different. So what happens when the normal optic tracts are damaged yet in tests the person can still ‘see’?

There have been amazing cases of blindsight in which the person has not been able to see by normal means but in controlled testing they correctly identify visual stimuli. With the damage to the optic tracts people with blindsight just should not be able to do this, if the reductionist paradigm is correct.

There have also been cases when some traumatic event like a childhood epileptic fit or a blow to the head have caused the person to have extraordinary abilities. Daniel Tammat is one example – he is able to do complex mathematics and linguistics seemingly effortlessly.

It is interesting how he describes some of the ways he obtains this information. He describes it as coalescing in his mind as shapes which he can then interpret. Is his brain obtaining information from the field in an unusual way?

6. Studies of precognition

Image: Shutterstock

Precognition is a subject that is normally discussed with derision by scientists but some scientists such as Dean Radin of the Institute of Noetic Science have actually taken the subject seriously enough to study the topic under controlled conditions. He found that the brain reacts to a stimulus even before the stimulus is present. The brain shows an EEG response before the event.

Again this should not be possible in the reductionist paradigm. According to that paradigm, the eyes should see the stimulus, the impulse needs to travel into the optic tracts from the retina. The brain then turns that into a response in the occipital and frontal areas of the brain.

In reality there isn’t enough time for this long process before the reaction to a visual stimulus happens as the chemical and electrical processes take a certain amount of time, commented on by Nobelist, Albert Szent-Györgyi. The precognition response is even weirder according to the old paradigm.

Of course such scientific studies are attacked – usually the scientist themselves are denigrated. They may even be subject to an organised campaign where people are employed go into the internet in various guises – as experts, forum posters and on social media to downplay the science and the scientists.

To watch a TED talk on these types of campaigns watch this video.

Conclusion

So all in all these are studies which suggest that the brain may not be the originator of consciousness and that something more may be going on. Some of the results may be better explained if the brain is actually a conduit organ for consciousness.

At the very least such results should have a true scientists questioning the basic assumptions of the reductionist paradigm. After all isn’t that how science is supposed to move forward? By spotting results that can change the current received wisdom?

Mary Magdalene how did it all start?

Some people ask me- how did it all start. Where did the concept of the Magdalene Prophecies come from? By the way that is not what I wanted to call the book! The lady herself came through one New Year’s Eve when I was attending a Lebanese Bellydance event – only later did I see the significance of that. The name just came through loud and clear and it had had a great response.

But it all started way back in the 2001 when I was still training to be a GP. I had taken a trip to New Mexico to attend a conference on the science of consciousness. Still to this day I can feel the magic as I arrived by myself to the hotel. I met several people whom I kept bumping into after lectures.

One of them was a woman named Jenna. On the last night of the conference she invited me to her place in Santa Fe before catching my flight back and I agreed.

After chatting for a while, we decided to head out for something to eat and it was then that something very strange happened. We looked at the moon and I have never before or since seen the moon in that way. It is hard to describe but it seemed to change shape. Then suddenly, without either of speaking, we knew that we were the women going to the tomb of Christ that fateful morning after the crucifixion.

I can’t say who was who as such it was as if we were the group consciousness, not anyone particular individual. Now I didn’t even know it at the time but Jenna is Jewish and I have a Hindu background so neither of us had much idea about the New Testament or Mary Magdalene.

That’s how and when the visions began and since that moment I have had many more including being inside Mary Magdalene’s consciousness as she was giving birth to her second child. To find out the full story check out this lecture. Enjoy.

Where’s your antimatter at?

Where’s your antimatter at?

Image:Graphic Stock/ Dr Manjir Samanta-Laughton

In my first book, Punk Science I described how areas of the universe are made up of matter which we are familiar but also the universe is made up of antimatter.

The process of these coming together to make light in the form of gamma-rays is a process that occurs in black holes which I have described before, but did you know it may be key in your own life?

Building on the work of Dr John Demartini, author of The Breakthrough Experience, I also realised that the antimatter region of your own self may represent your shadow emotions – those aspects of you that you do not want to face.

Dr John Demartini author of the Breakthrough Experience. Credit Dr Manjir Samanta-Laughton

Life, however will provide you with opportunities with which to face your shadow self – this is what we call the journey of life. It is how we handle these events that determines the level of transformation that they give us.

I hear a lot of spiritual teachers, some of them very famous, who tell you to ignore your emotions and people who may bother you in life. I teach the exact opposite; it is in the difficult events and people where the real treasure lies.

These events hold the clues to your own shadow self and emotions and it is by integrating your matter and antimatter in your own consciousness that you can increase the light in your being – just like in a galactic black hole!

This quick exercise can help you to integrate your shadow self and emotions.
